What is a « bead »?
A bead is a small decorative object with a hole that can be threaded on a string. Beads come in various shapes and are made of different materials. The word bead has no literal French translation although the French words «perle» and «bille» are often used.
On august 8th 2002, Claude Ouellette founded Club Bead Plus in the hopes of passing on his passion for beads to the Quebec industry. Today, 10 years later, two of his children and his son in-law, keep his legacy alive. Together, they continue to instill creativity in today’s jewelry making ever-growing community. CBP now imports products from all over the world and is a supplier for several North American companies.
