Claude Ouellette, founder of Club Bead Plus (CBP), has always had a builder and leader's attitude. His interest for weaved pearls, commonly called beads, comes from a desire to stimulate the creativity and development of original ideas. He starts in the field by selling necklaces and ceramic pins at business fairs, then turns to importation and quickly becomes a wholesale dealer. Still carried by his creativity and the desire to gather unique people, in 2002, he starts Club Bead Plus in Montreal.

Club Bead Plus turns out to be the leading industry in the beads domain, by focusing on the quality and diversity of its products and customer service. CBP operates a two-floored store as well as a 20 000 square feet (2 200 square meters) warehouse.

Ever since the dawn of time, beads have been a fascinating presence in every culture.
